AAARGH! My eyes!

This gun was released last year, but I came across Iver Johnson’s Eagle LR Zombie pistol only today.

In the name of mercy, who would do that to a sweet innocent 1911?  John Moses Browning must have been spinning in his grave at the launch announcement!  Guns & Ammo magazine thought it was a proficient pistol when they reviewed it . . . but I just can’t bear the thought of that thing coming within a good country mile of my gun safe.

Yuck!

  1. What? You mean you dislike a firearm with the images of all your favorite zombie's? Pelosi, Michelle, Barack, Feinstein, Boehner, McCain and Oprah??

  2. Just imagine that you have to use that pistol in a self-defense shooting. Come a subsequent Grand Jury or a civil suit from the scumbag or his next-of-kin, do you really want to be judged by the jury that was just shown THAT?

It's all fun and games until it gets real.

  3. When they start selling zombie-themed firearms and live ammo (Hornady's ZombieMax**), the genre has well and truly jumped the shark.

With all apologies to Saint Browning, peace be upon him: Kill that abomination with fire.

And yeah, "Murphy's Law" above had it right: Can you imagine that thing, or one of the skull-camo'd offerings from Weatherby or Mossberg, being presented to your grand jury? Especially if you had some Z-Max ammo to go with it? Yikes.

(Captcha code: "Cipseon Occupation." Sounds like the title to a Robert Ludlum novel doesn't it?)
