I usually watch Mythbusters but I missed that one. Not only was the car pancaked, the 1″ steel plate was folded like origami, and the 3″ concrete backing and the berm were just…gone!
I think they achieved their goal.
I saw the episode last night. All I can say is WOW!
I wanna see them do it again with a bus or another semi.
The display of speed was just amazing. Just shy of Mach 1.
Did you notice the paint spray as the metal crumpled from under it?
