The Telegraph recently published this picture of the boot-shaped Lavenu Center in Shanghai, China. You can view a larger image at the link.
At first I thought it was some sort of photographic hoax – I mean, who in their right mind would build a skyscraper looking so uncannily like a boot? – but other Web sites confirm that it’s real. Must have been an unduly straight-laced designer . . .
Verily, sometimes the mind doth boggle!
