This video clip of a Red Bull ‘Romaniacs’ motorcycle event in Romania makes me seriously question the sanity of participants. How on earth anyone in his right mind would willingly subject himself and his (expensive) motorcycle to this sort of gratuitous torture and mayhem . . . well, see for yourself.
Hey, I’m a motorcyclist (or I was, for many years, prior to suffering a disabling injury). I like motorcycles, and understand the drive of those who want to compete in sports with them. Nevertheless, if a son of mine told me he was going to participate in something like that, I’d seriously consider having him involuntarily committed to a mental institution!

I wonder if that is near the town of Heltau, in the Siebu area. this is where my family's name came from, around the 13th century. Germans that had migrated to Romania that lived there until they were forcefully displaced by the commies, under pain of death, back in the day.

That's the sort of thing that confirms my suspicions about Eastern Europeans being touched in the head. Not all of them, of course, but a majority of the population.

Whats the difference in that and running a marathon or climbing a mountain or plenty of others things people do to test themselves.Sure its a little crazy but nothing to commit someone over …of course you may have just been engaging in hyperbole.
