Pearl Harbor, 1941 – one man’s memories

Rather than commemorate today’s anniversary in a general, historical-overview way, I thought I’d make it a bit more real.  Here are the reminiscences of Adolph Kuhn, who was there.

Makes it more up-close-and-personal, doesn’t it?

  1. I've been fortunate enough to visit Pearl Harbor twice and met survivors each time, including two from the Arizona. Knowing that I was standing mere feet from where they swam ashore from the burning horror behind them … it's nearly indescribable. And all they want is to be buried with their friends and shipmates.
