It seems the waters around the Channel Islands off southern California are home to a rather strange species of fish called the Sarcastic Fringehead. I’d never heard of them until I saw this video clip.
Weird-looking things, aren’t they? Their behavior reminds me of young teenybopper wannabe gang-bangers in some inner city neighborhoods . . . all mouth and macho, but not much else!
