Agreed. I did some things like that out in the Aleutians on tundra, along with other members of the Four-Wheelin' CBers club (gives you a time frame, right there) and lived to tell the tale.
I guarantee it's equal parts skill and dumb luck.

Ya know after he rolled on his side, recovered and was facing "down-hill" he should have thrown it into reverse. Betcha he could have reversed it over the top.
Luckily his cajones kept his COG low!!!
