I was amazed at the skill shown by the operator of this 14-ton excavator in getting it down from the top of a silage heap.
Of course, other excavator operators may be less skilled . . .

My uncle used to regularly load and unload his backhoe into the bed of his dump truck using a similar technique when no ramps were available. People would constantly stop whatever they were doing and watch, always expecting him to crash it. He never did.
