So a banana and a lobster walk through the door . . .

This has to be the most unusual crime report I’ve ever read!  Bold print is my emphasis.

… surveillance photos show four people entering the building. Two are dressed in a banana costume and a lobster costume.

About the same time, someone took a wooden sculpture by the artist Clyde Jones from the building. The art work is worth about $1,000.

I can understand the authorities’ suspicions about the lobster – there’s definitely something fishy about it.  I hope their search for the banana bears fruit.

  1. Sooner or later, the banana will slip up, and then he'll be in a bunch of trouble. At that point, the lobster will be feeling pretty steamed, and probably turn tail and run.
