On the other hand… ignoring Twitter and going forth into the world might be better. At least for most of us living in the First World, the local reality is much less scary than the on-line chatter (or the TV-network "news" for that matter).
The world is never polite enough to knock and identify itself. It just forces itself on you anywhere and everywhere you may go, allowing for no refuge or sanctity.
It's the ultimate predatory personality and persona.
Anymore, it won't even allow you to live in your own home or residence half the time (construction, traffic noise, constant emergency vehicles)
