A couple of weeks ago I put up a video about a steampunk steam train race. Now, from the same studio, here’s a steampunk wizard SWAT team – a Special Wizards Assault Team.
Requires a bit of a stretch of the imagination, but it’s still an intriguing use of CGI.

Very nice. I particularly like the opening – the first several bars of the late Virgil Fox's "Heavy Organ," I believe.

…The British fantasy novelist Simon R. Green did something similar in his "Hawk and Fisher" novels, which are sort of a blend of the dark fantasy and police procedural genres. Although in his case, it was a "Special Wizardry and Tactics" team doing battle against rogue sorcerers, demons and the odd god or two.
