Feeding frenzy!

The Daily Mail published an article today about a giant bait ball off the Florida coast, which attracted thousands of sharks to feed on it. The photograph below accompanied the article.

That’s got to be the biggest bait ball I’ve ever heard of! Intrigued, I looked for more pictures, and found these two videos of bait balls on YouTube, including underwater photography of the feeding frenzy around them. They make fascinating viewing.

At least I now know what yesterday’s tuna salad had been eating before I chowed down on it . . .
