As a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution and of the right to keep and bear arms, I find this interesting.
It seems that Josh Sugarmann, founder and executive director of the anti-gun Violence Policy Center, also holds a Federal Firearms License – normally held by gun dealers. When I read the rumor online I was sceptical, but a quick check on the ATF’s online verification system proved it to be true. (Click on the image below for a larger, more readable version.)
Hmmm . . . so the guy who opposes, and constantly rails against those who support, Second Amendment rights also holds a license to deal in the instruments of those rights?
Can anyone spell “hypocrisy”?

Peter,
Saw this somewhere else, too, but do not remember. The comment made on the other site is that Mr. Sugarmann uses the FFL license as a way to infiltrate the gun shows and the “underbelly of the beast”, to better understand how to stop it. The other note of interest is that it appears to be illegal to pose as an FFL if you are not buying/selling guns.
So, an illegal hypocrite…..
