Michael J. Knowles decided to have some fun after the recent elections. Early last month, he published a book titled ‘Reasons to Vote for Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide‘. Every single page in it is blank!
According to the New York Post:
The book’s Amazon page describes it as “the most exhaustively researched and coherently argued Democrat Party apologia to date … a political treatise sure to stand the test of time.”
The book has been flying off the shelves on Amazon, where it garnered more than 1,300 reviews — mostly sarcastic — by Friday afternoon.
“If Democrats copied and pasted the contents of this book into their national platform they could become unstoppable,” one review said.
“Riveting from cover to cover,” another said.
There’s more at the link.
Believe it or not, it’s currently Amazon.com’s number one bestselling book, with over 1,500 reviews and an average rating of 4.5 stars at the time of writing. At a list price of $8.03 per copy, Mr. Knowles’ joke is making him a goodly sum of money!
Not to be outdone, Char Daley wrote a book in response titled ‘Reasons to Vote for Republicans: A Captivating Interpretation‘. It’s also filled with blank pages.
Unfortunately for Mr. Daley, readers obviously don’t like copycats. His book has only 36 reviews at the time of writing (although that’s partly because it was published just two days ago), and its average rating is only 1.2 stars. Reviewers’ comments were brutal, according to the Daily Wire. Its sales rank is currently 9,304 in the ‘Books’ category on Amazon.com, compared to #1 for its rival.
What’s next? A book about environmentalist politicians, filled with blank green pages?

ROTF… Being #1 is good, #2 not so much…
A good chuckle… thanks!
Is there a copyright/plagiarism lawsuit here? *snerk*
Reminds me of the Pet Rock frenzy.
I have a vinyl album titled "The Wit and Wisdom of Ronald Reagan", one side being the wit, and the other side being the wisdom. It has grooves, but it's blank. I love Reagan, but it's still funny. I paid a dollar for it back in the early 80s.
