So, the somewhat-less-than-reverend Al Sharpton is at it again.
The Rev. Al Sharpton criticized efforts to mute the Black Lives Matter movement Saturday, saying a sustained protest is the only way to force change.
“It’s mind changing time,” Sharpton told listeners during his weekly address at the National Action Network’s “House of Justice” in Harlem.
He urged others to ignore the calls from critics to scale back or stop rallies organized by the Black Lives Matter movement.
. . .
Sharpton said numerous protests create a climate for change and provide participants a sense of sanity amid rising gun-related violence. He also deplored the killing of police officers in Dallas last week.
“Don’t paint us as anti-cop. We are not anti-police. We’re anti-wrong,” he said.
There’s more at the link.
So, Al . . . if you’re so all-fired “anti-wrong”:
- Has anyone mentioned Tawana Brawley to you recently?
- And how much money have you made from shaking down businesses lately?
- And what about that $16,000 in cash?
- Oh – and have you paid your taxes yet? And what about the taxes of your foundations and businesses?
“Anti-wrong”, my fundamental jujube! Seems to me he’s made a career out of “wrong”!
"It's mind changing time," Sharpton told listeners . . .
Al hopefully is cognizant of the "best intentions" AlGoreithm. It may be that the minds being changed are not those of his target audience, but instead, those of his target audience's targets.
As Fred Reed keeps pointing out, there may come a day when the pendulum swings in the other direction, and the Sharpton Cash Cow lowers its' head to gore opponents.
"And how about those 2 suspicious fires that wiped out your records just before an audit?"
