Overheard this morning at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival, a loud call from a jewelry stallholder to a passing couple:
“My Lord! I have a necklace for your fair wife that would go perfectly with your credit card!”
Miss D. and I couldn’t help giggling. She was trying on a different necklace at the time. (Yes, we bought it. After that inspired humor, how could we not?)
