Damn funny!. I have never seen anything remotely approaching the imagination shown in these commercials, here in Australia.
I almost believe that there IS a Trunk Monkey, that being so, was there any merchandising put out at the same time?.
Stuart, check out ebay.com. There's everything from stuffed animals (monkeys, of course) to hats and shirts and stickers.
That collection's got several I hadn't seen before, but it's missing at least one – the fenderbender where the trunk monkey saves the day with a tire iron.
These are great ads – almost makes me with I lived close to that car dealership!
