I had a yellow Lab that was almost as smart. Certainly, any chocolate or crackers that I left lying around, even if (I thought) well-hidden or securely put away, didn’t take long to vanish.

I have a basset hound so this wouldn't work. I've seen her not move for 10 hours straight.
