Why, it grows a cat, of course!
Ashbutt regards any laundry temporarily placed on or draped over furniture – particularly if it’s still warm from the dryer – as his personal nesting place, and gets quite indignant if we try to remove him from it. “But I saw it first! I claim it! It’s MINE, dammit!”

Just so you know – dark fabrics attract white cats equally well..
Yeah, cats are like that. Fresh cleaned laundry seems to attract them from the farthest corners of the house. That and computer keyboards – they just love walking all over those.
